Accessibility Statement

BertelèS.R.L. is committed to making its digital products and services accessible in accordance with Directive(EU)2019/882 (EuropeanAccessibilityAct) and WCAG2.1 LevelAA.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the main domain https://www.bertele.it.
Any sub‑domains or associated services will be added in future revisions.

2. Conformity Status

The site is partially compliant: core user journeys (corporate information, catalogue, contact form) are operable, but barriers remain for users with visual, motor and cognitive disabilities.

3. Key Non‑Conformities (macro areas)

  • Contrast & focus – 23 text elements have a colour‑contrast ratio <4.5:1; keyboard focus outline is not always visible.
  • Semantic structure – incomplete heading hierarchy; the main <h1> is missing.
  • Keyboard navigation – no “skip link”; menus/dropdowns do not expose aria-haspopup/aria-expanded; some hidden elements are still tabbable.
  • Forms & error handling – fields lack programmatic labels or aria-label; duplicate IDs; aria-invalid not updated.
  • Dynamic content – carousels, pop‑ups and iframes lack landmarks, role=”dialog” or descriptive title attributes.

4. Disproportionate‑Burden Exceptions

  • Transcripts for videos published before 2022.
  • Alternative text for roughly 15000 archived images.

These exceptions will be reassessed annually.

5. Strategy & Actions

  • Accessibility programme launch: 1June2025
  • Audit completed: 9July2025
  • Next audit: October2025
  • Multi‑year Accessibility Plan 2026–2028 to be published by December2025
  • Each audit produces an action plan with an internal owner and public ticket tracking.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • 2025 roadmap: resolve all Severe issues by October2025.
  • Follow‑up audit: November2025, with report publication.
  • Monitoring: quarterly manual tests.

We commit to progressively reducing non‑conformities and updating this statement after every significant release.
